Description: Great Brook Valley Health Center is currently reorganizing and is seeking to fill the new position of Vice President / Resource Development. Great Brook Valley Health Center (GBVHC) is a well established multi-site, multi-community, HRSA funded community health center with primary care sites in Central Massachusetts communities of Worcester and Framingham. Great Brook Valley Health Center has an annual operating budget of over $24 million dollars per year, has a staff of 330, and serves over 21,000 patients with over 120,000 patient care encounters per year. The Vice President of Resource Development will report to Toni McGuire, GBVHC President and Chief Executive Officer. The VP/Resource Development will be responsible for the following organizational functions: • Resource development • Philanthropy • Marketing and Public Relations • Grants/Contracts writing and reporting • Community Programs and Projects • Worcester Healthy Start • Community Grants (including HIV) • Health Education • Youth Programs • Staff supervision – program managers • And Sr. level Executive Management at Great Brook Valley Health Center. The VP/ Resource Development will work as part of the senior leadership team at Great Brook Valley Health Center which includes the President and CEO, Vice Presidents: COO, CFO, VP/HR, VP/Pharmacy, VP/Dental and the site Medical Directors and Executive Directors.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a graduate degree and a minimum of three years of senior management experience in health care or a related field, supervisory experience, and a working knowledge of grants and grant budgeting.
